Here’s Week 2 of my personal project, 365 Photo a Day. We had lots of snow and cold that week, so we were still in the Christmas spirit. Ho-ho-ho! This meant drinking hot cocoa, sleigh rides, playing with Lego Santa and warming our feet at the fireplace. How did you spend the beginning of 2015?

Week 2: January 8th – January 14th, 2015

Day 8: If it’s snow, then it’s big brother pulling you in the sleigh time!

Day 9: Lucas is growing by the day, so mommy decided it was time for some photos! He put on his best plaited shirt, working pants and of we went to play by the vintage old chair that daddy got for mommy. We had to include the singing lamb, of course! Check out how fuzzy it is!Calgary Lifestyle Photographer, Totem Photography, 365 Photo Project

Day 10: Last photo of Lego Santa before he went in the Lego bin with the rest of the Christmas stuff. Take a good look at him and make sure to smile.

He sees you when you’re sleeping
He knows when you’re awake
He knows if you’ve been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

Day 11: For those of you who didn’t know, my birth country is Romania. You’ll find it swimming around in the Southeastern Europe – I say “swimming” because it sort of looks like a fish 🙂 The photo below is a conversation between hubby and me about me finishing a course that I’ve been postponing for a while. So I was super excited that I finished the last 3 modules in a couple of days. Hurray!Calgary Lifestyle Photographer, Totem Photography, 365 Photo Project

Day 12: Toast, milk, some jam spilled on a butter knife, don’t forget to feed the baby some cheese and a wee bit of bread… and that’s about how our mornings look like. Some lunchbox here, a ziploc there, water bottle in the corner. But among all the morning craziness, I do enjoy watching David feeding Lucas bits of food and telling him not to stuff his mouth that much.Calgary Lifestyle Photographer, Totem Photography, 365 Photo Project

Day 13: We were getting ready to take down the Christmas decorations at this point, so behold: a photo of the Nutcracker before we say goodbye! So long friend, see you next year! The fireplace will sure miss your toothy smile. Calgary Lifestyle Photographer, Totem Photography, 365 Photo Project
