Week 12: March 19th – March 25th, 2015
Day 78: So apparently this book, which David got from his teacher, has been read by all the kids in his classroom. Our reply?
Day 79: And they’re off! David & hubby are getting ready to join our karate team in Edmonton for the Provincial Tournament. Wohoo!
Day 80: “While mommy is doing some light testing for tomorrow’s photo session, I’ll just sit here quietly and contemplate about chewing these ballerina shoes.” said Lucas while avoiding mommy’s stern look.
Day 81: Balloons – check! Light testing – check! Models ready – check, minus the baby and the pink hair curlers. Oh, well, there’s always time for a kiss. 🙂
Day 82: Super proud of David, who got 4th place in kata on his very own first competition – mind you, the first 3 places were all yellow belts, so he was the only one white. When asked what he liked best about Edmonton, his reply was: “Dad took me to this awesome restaurant, where I ate a hamburger the size of my head! No, really, mom! It was the size of my head!! Like THIS big!” Sheesh… after 2 days of road trip, karate tournament and hotel rooms, he only remembered the giant hamburger! Hahahaha! He’s my son alright!
Day 83: Playing with some chemistry set, David discovered that little brothers are meant for showing off things that you build.
Day 84: Park day with our favorite friends!
